After You Arrive — Services to Help You Settle
Ontario Immigration guide to finding services in your community, looking for jobs and training, improving language skills, and getting other kinds of help. Includes a checklist to follow while settling in Ontario. Emergency Management Ontario
Information about emergency management and community safety in Ontario. Features news and emergency alerts and includes a step-by-step toolkit on how to be prepared — including suggestions for people with disabilities and special needs, children, seniors, and pets. Basic “Be prepared” information is also in Arabic, Bengali, Farsi, Finnish, German, Greek, Gujarati, Hindi, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Chinese, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Tamil, Ukrainian, Urdu, and Vietnamese. Accessible on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Emergency Red Alerts can be received by email or SMS text messaging.

Health Care Connect
Register in person or online with Health Care Connect, an Ontario government program that helps Ontario residents find a family doctor. Includes an introductory video on the service. Downloadable multilingual fact sheets on Health Care Connect are available in Amharic, Arabic, Cambodian, Chinese (Simplified and traditional), Farsi, German, Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Korean, Ojicree, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Serbian, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Tagalog, Tamil, Ukrainian, Urdu and Vietnamese.

Learn English or French
Information on improving language skills before and after you arrive in Canada, where to study, and language training for school and work. A downloadable guide is available in Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Filipino (Tagalog), Greek, Hindi, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, Tamil and Urdu. There is also a “Find a Language Class” online search tool.

Limestone Community Education — Language Training (for children)

Multi-language brochures (Canadian Mental Health Association)
