Centralized Childcare Registry and Information Service (CCRIS)
The official online childcare registry and waitlist service for the City of Kingston and County of Frontenac. This website provides a directory of available childcare options searchable by availability, location, age group, and type of care (home, centre, school, etc.) and program (half-day, full-day, after school, etc.). Sign up to receive notification of available childcare spaces.

Charleston Lake
About an hour’s drive away from Kingston, Charleston Lake Provincial Park has overnight camping, swimming, hiking, skiing, boating and other recreational opportunities. Park information is also available on Twitter and Pinterest.

Child and Family Benefits
Links to federal and provincial programs and benefits for families with children, such as the Canada Child Tax Benefit, Child Disability Benefit, Universal Child Care Benefit, Children’s Special Allowances, and other credit and tax information. Also includes a link to the Automated Benefits Application service that allows for newborns to be automatically signed up to receive all benefits for which they are eligible. Climate Action Tool Kit
A City of Kingston resource highlighting actions that people can take to help Kingston reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and increase our climate resilience. Includes suggestions on how to save energy and be more sustainable both at home and the workplace through food, transportation, and energy choices. Provincial Offenses Court and Administration Office
Operated by the City of Kingston on behalf of the City and Frontenac County this court processes Provincial Offence charges — these are noncriminal offences including speeding, careless driving and other driving infractions, liquor offences, and trespassing. The office accepts payment for charges; schedules trials; processes applications, pleas, extensions, and appeals; and enforces and collects outstanding fines.
